You’re correct. But the latest slang in the burgh among the teenage population is “black & yellow”, you can thank Wiz Khalifa. WE ALL KNOW IT’S BLACK & GOLD and we’ll die defending it. (Though the jerseys they wear are indeed black and yellow.)
